Only in very exceptional circumstances can additional leave be requested, for example for an extra holiday, attending a wedding, or a weekend away. Your parents must apply for this leave eight weeks in advance using the compulsory education forms. These forms are available from the department heads.
If you need to visit the doctor, dentist, orthodontist, or similar during school hours, your parents must officially notify the school by phone. When you leave, you must sign out at the administration or reception. As soon as you return, you must sign in again.
Because we start every morning with the homework hour, it is very important that you arrive on time. Also, when you switch classrooms, we expect you to be there as quickly as possible so the lesson can begin. Although we consider it normal for you to follow these rules, we do reward you for it. Each term, we schedule an afternoon without lessons. Anyone who has not been late or missed a lesson even once gets that afternoon off. Now that's a good deal!
