Rotterdam Training School
Our school group is affiliated with the Rotterdam Teacher Training School. Within this training school, there is intensive collaboration with teacher training programs from the region and other school groups. Through the training school, students are placed with us.

A flying start as a new teacher
Of course, we don’t just throw new teachers in at the deep end. We warmly welcome you to our Portus introduction day and guide you through the program for new colleagues. At your school, you will have your own coach to whom you can turn with all your questions. Throughout the school year, there are intervision sessions, workshops, and information meetings. This way, you stay well informed and can immediately share your experiences with others.
Guidance for Beginning Teachers
Are you already familiar with our three-year introductory program Guidance for Beginning Teachers (BSL)? Teachers who have completed their studies follow a three-year induction program in which they receive the support they need. This induction program is for all beginning teachers at the Portus school group. Welcome to Portus!
